Primavera Sound 2008

Last night we have been enjoying the first night of the Primavera Festival, we managed to see Public Enemy, Portished and De La Soul.

Very nice show... it was so nice to be back in the festival atmosphere... we really missed it

Anyway, we'll be back with some more info on the festival.

Back at last...

Where have we been?

First, apologies for the long period without updates, long time has passed since the last time we wrote on the blog but due to surrounding circumstances... ehm... we’ve been busy.

A small list of what happened in between:

We no longer work for Apple

We got on a boat

We left Ireland

We moved to Barcelona

From the start, the city made a very nice impression on us, overall it hasn’t been difficult getting around the place but all of this was possible only because Robbie, our new flat mate, is a great house hunter, knows his way around and was so kind to let us share his previous flat with us by the time we arrived.

So now, after one and half month we are 100% settled with jobs and everything and so happy with the outcome.

Hiya! Since the last time we decided to post something here a looot of things have happened. We have been on holidays in Spain and in Italy. We have enjoyed the beach and the sun. We had visitors, yeah. They came to verify how green and rainy Ireland is. I think they had a great time. And they even improved their English. We have been jazzing and drag to the pub many time by Mr. Anweiler because otherwise we won't move from the country side :) We have visited old friends. And we have tasted what it could be our next destination. Anyway, this Saturday Mr. Sushi will be a year older. Big party in programme together with some German friends. Please come and say Buon Compleanno to Mr. Sushi. Mrs. Evil Sushi.

From The Fridge

Hey folks, After a long long time without any kind of post, we are back. So since January, nothing major happened. Well, that is not completely true, because Mr. Evil Sushi, Lucky Luciano and Excalibur a.k.a. Toboganes, performed at the Liquid Lounge with a major success, more than 200 people enjoying the show. Apart from that, the only news from my side are that my department has moved to The Fridge. And yes, the new offices are nice and clean. I have got a lot of gadgets and a new Cinema Display ^_^. But it is frrrreaking cold, my back is sore, I hate air conditioning, is the most annoying thing someone can use in this country, for god's sake, it is never warm here!! So there I am @ the fridge with serious expression but hey, I am freezing here!! Almost forgot, my dear friend Vero is a year older today. So please go into the comments and tell her how much you love her (even though she is from Valladolid). And she can tell us the beautiful presents she got. Hey people this time I have admit that Mrs Sushi threw me off the roof (for happiness) with her persents and surprises. Well where to start... ah yes, on December the 30th we flew to Galicia via Madrid and we landed at the Barajas airport right after a big explosion disintegrated a 4 floors garage which use to stand right in front of the Terminal 4, our terminal... We got to Ferrol with a minimum delay considering the event. Anyway, once arrived we got fed with some premium food and what a cook... brilliant New Year's Eve was a very good one, we hooked up with the usual suspects and partied til morning This time we went to visit Lugo and its old surrounding wall. But the best part, I recevied an authentic analog effect handmade by Moog, pretty enough to make me go "Ballistic"; but that wasn't enough for Mrs Sushi so she decided to make me believe that I was going to have a quiet one and all of a sudden people started to come to the sushi house and the party began... unbelievable!!! So now if you'll ask me if I know a super great person... I do!! Enjoy, SushiEd

Hey folks! Long time since the last post, but we have been very busy with the Christmas Season. I have started a new job in Logistics, so for us X-mas=worst of the nightmares. Mr. Sushi has been very busy as well, he played last week with Andrea and Luciano at the Cypruss Avenue, big success!! So, Christmas is almost gone, and I only want one thing: Mr. Sushi, GIVE ME MY PRESENTS!!! Oh and I also want to congratulate my dear friend Hiromi, she getting married!! すぐに会おう! Free Goodies!

Hi all, long time no see, I know. But after spending one week (and some extra days due to Ryanair) in Venice we are back with good news (for us). Since our company is making gazillions of dollars, they will give us 3 days extra holiday, yey!!. Besides, as they care so much about us they are giving us a new gadget. Hello there, since it has been a long time since the last post and Mr. Sushi seems to be very busy, here I go. Last week Timo A. brought me his Ipod because I had the last episode from PB. So in exchange I borrowed some music, like these guys here and these ones too And it is only due to them that I am starting to wake up on this sunny Monday morning. But the newest file into my Library is Peter, Bjorn and John since I saw the video of Young Folks on TV I couldn't get rid of the melody. And Mr. Sushi downloaded it for me before I went crazy. New Stuff

Hiya! After a very busy weekend, we are back sigh... But we are back with lots of new stuff. I got the heaviest book in the world, every time I use it my blood stops running through my legs. But I like it a lot, many interesting things inside. Then I also got a huge collection of dvd's from The Odd Couple ^_^, many Hitchcock's tiltes plus Chicken Run plus Election. But this is a non-stop, because yesterday Mr. Sushi gave another one, Howl's Moving Casttle, oh and Mr. Amazon got another present for Mr. Sushi: And there are more goddies coming from Spain... Introducing Raffaella

Hiya!! Please meet Raffaella our new adoption. As you can see she is a mummy, born on 9th August 2006 B.C. She has already met Judas, and they're getting on very well. I have named her after the world famous Raffaella Carrá Please now welcome Raffaella, some of you will have the pleasure to meet her next Sat. Mrs. Evil almost b-day Sushi.

Back from the holidays (Sushi's re-oxigenated)

After 2 weeks of nice, relaxed and needed holidays we came back to this island to contribute a bit more to its economy and inspired as we are after the summer break, we might surpise you with some ideas. Anyway, what we brought back is some pictures from Spain and Portugal which we you you'll enjoy and maybe spot some place that you have been too (hint: Porto's bridge). Next Stop is now a big celebration: for Maria's B-Day (August 24, so you have no excuses), we will be in Dublin to see Beck and Radiohead. We Are The Robots

Hey mates!! Back on track before going on holiday (non arrivano mai...) and what I found? I found a series that you can watch for free. They are called We Are The Robots and they are so suppa evil... The one on the pic is Gothbot, she is at the club with her girliegothi friends talking about any other girl: Gothbot: Whore Friend: Total Whore Isn't it fabulous?? Well this crazy germans were working on this idea a while ago, the video is very cool. They played last year at the Electric Picnic, where this year we are soooooooo not going. As always happens, we find a good festival, and the organizers and their brilliant minds, what they do? Of course, raise (almost double) the prices. Brilliant guys!!
